Demolition of existing bungalow. Proposed erection of two semi detached houses and one detached house.

OBJECTIONS - The proposals would comprise an undesirable element of backland development giving a cramped appearance and represent an undesirable intensification of development of this site, out of character with the immediately surrounding development of Oldfield Road and having a detrimental impact upon the amenities of neighbouring properties.
The site accessing onto Oldfield Road would cause additional hazards to the existing facilities. Oldfield Road is on the safe route to school and is widely used by many children travelling to the Community School.
In the opinion of the Parish Council the development proposed would represent
an unacceptable form of intensified development and gross overdevelopment, which would not provide sufficient amenity space for its residents.
The building line is in front of properties in Oldfield Road
Residents have expressed concerns over the excess surface water in the rear of the existing bungalow. Flooding issue could be intensified if garaging built over existing pond area, which takes away some excess water at present, and this should be taken into consideration when these plans are considered.
