Objections
The proposals would comprise an undesirable element of backland development giving a cramped appearance and represent an undesirable intensification of development of this site, out of character with the immediately surrounding development of Oldfield Road and having a detrimental impact upon the amenities of neighbouring properties.
The site accessing onto Oldfield Road would cause additional hazards to the existing facilities. Oldfield Road is on the safe route to school and is widely used by many children travelling to the Community School.
In the opinion of the Parish Council the development proposed would represent
an unacceptable form of intensified development which would not provide sufficient amenity space for its residents
Residents have expressed concerns over the excess surface water in the rear of the existing bungalow and this should be taken into consideration when these plans are considered.
